The International Institute of Legal Project Management accredits another South African as the second Legal Project Management accredited trainer in Sub-Saharan Africa
The International Institute of Legal Project Management (IILPM) has announced the accreditation of South African Jacqui Baldwin Jarvis as the second accredited trainer for its Legal Project Management (LPM) accredited courses leading to the internationally recognised certifications “Legal Project AssociateTM” and “Legal Project PractitionerTM”. The Institute has lawyer graduates in 40 countries, including South Africa, Nigeria and Zambia that have been certified according to the IILPM standard.

Jacqui Baldwin Jarvis, an experienced South African trainer and management consultant with respect to programme and project management in the Legal and other Professional Services sectors, has been accredited as the latest trainer for the International Institute of Legal Project Management’s accredited Legal Project Management (LPM) courses.
As an already certified Legal Project Practitioner, only the fourth one in Sub-Saharan Africa, and an Associate of Avuka Training and Coaching, she will train and coach lawyers and other legal professionals in law firms, alternative legal service providers and legal in-house departments how to apply project management principles and practices to enhance the delivery of legal services according to IILPM’s methodology. This framework combines project practices, technology enablement and process improvement techniques and people leadership applied specific to legal environments. The methodology focuses on providing the highest degree of transparency, client focus, efficiency and cost-control related to the legal matter management process. Fairly new to the African continent, LPM has been introduced as a philosophy and methodology by the leading global law firms over the past years.

Beside the IILPM certification and accreditation, Jacqui is accredited with the Project Management Institute®(PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) and has completed the PRINCE2 Foundation Certification, as well as a SCRUM Fundamentals certification (SFC). She is a registered Assessor (Services SETA Constituent Assessor Registration Number: JJAR636837120) and has also successfully completed SAQA US 15755 (Design and Develop Assessments) in South Africa.
Jacqui is currently the Vice President: Volunteer Management for the PMI South Africa Chapter.

About the IILPM
The International Institute of Legal Project Management (IILPM) is a global certifying body for Legal Project Management.
